The ANDMAR AHD Surface Grinding Machine
Andmar have now developed a cost effective range of larger capacity Surface Grinders.
The Andmar AHD (Advanced Hydraulic circuit Design) Precision Surface Grinding Machine has been designed to meet Andmar's demanding requirements. Easy to
operate and with superior rigid construction for greater stock removal and accuracy.
The advanced hydraulic circuit design, and fully supported frictionless slideways, give ultra smooth table reversal
with greater accuracy and longer life. The system also incorporates a low lubrication safety alarm system.
The Wheelhead supports a Super Precision Ball Bearing Wheelhead cartridge unit. Has automatic downfeed to table and saddle
reversal with sparkout counter. A Ballscrew operated crossfeed will maintain full control and accuracy.
Standard Equipment includes the following -
- Paper Roll Filtration Coolant system.
- Electro-Magnetic Chuck with Demag.
- Power Rise & Fall to Wheelhead.
- Fine Feed to Vertical & Cross Saddle Movement.
- Wheelhead Mounted Dresser.
- Table Stop to Right.
